It's not every wedding, where I get to shoot two ceremonies in one day! Nisha and Thomas' wedding was awesome because they did both an American and Indian ceremony, except both had feminist core values interwoven through them, so that both Nisha and Thomas were seen as equal giver's, receiver's and participants in their matrimony.
We had a TOOOOON of run running around wilmington shooting! We got an early start and then shot till after dark, so we got to experiment, with Robyn & Daniel's portraits a bit and employ some new fun tricks.

Read MoreThe Open House at the Barn at Rock Creek was SO MUCH FUN!!! I don't work with models often, I'm used to giving direction and working with normal people (like me) who don't spend a lot of time in front of the camera. So this was like playing in a playground of photographic fun-ness!!!

Unfortunately as we were both on our way to the beach we hit a wall of pouring rain, we decided to reschedule for the very next morning bright and early. We had so much fun shooting this wedding. After the reception was over we took the light rail back into uptown Charlotte to shoot some more. It also happened to be the same night as a halloween pub crawl. We had run-ins with Captain America, Batman, and a zombie bride and groom.
